I can’t lie, I’ve been incredibly lax in keeping up this blog, but I do have a good excuse.  Since my last post, I’ve been watching endless art and craft tutorials and expanding my creative network. I’ve also been building up a healthy stock of notebooks, greeting cards, and boxes to put in my shop. I’m actually at a point that I am running out of space to keep things.

  1. Alcohol markers. I know they’re not new, but I’m a wussy and I took my art GCSE at a time when ‘felt pens’ were not considered ‘real’ art medium (at least not by my teacher). I really need to stop being a wussy.
  2. Digital drawing. I got a Huion Q11k digital drawing pad for my birthday last month (not saying which one). This was me being brave because technology seems to hate me and it takes a bit of getting used to.
  3. Stampin’ Up. This company has been around for two decades and I have no idea how I had not heard of them before. Their stamps are beautifully designed and they have 40 colours of coordinating dye inks (the pads are re-fillable)… If I could afford it, I’d probably buy the whole catalogue.
  4. Hixxysoft. I found this supplier thanks to someone in a craft group last week. I’ve been hankering for a foiling machine for years and decided to go for it last week. They have an absolutely massive selection of dies and foil so I shall be indulging.

Have you made any creative discoveries during the lockdown? I’d love to hear about them so please feel free to share them in the comments below?
